2005 was...well...what can we say? It was kind of lame! No snow in the NW, the ski slopes were only open for about amonth, and everyone was sad. BUT, Mamafest still went off in a big way. The Summit at Snoqualmie, with all their awesome staff, managed to build a great rail and quarter pipe course that was a lot of fun. A BIG congrats to the winners:

Pro Men: Matt Edgars, Drew, and Austin Hironaka, Am Men: Josh Christianson, Joel Stewart, and Sean McKillop Am Women: Erin Dessert, Hillary Mason, and Amy Palumbo, Grom: Andy Bergen Sperry, Andy Stern, and Bryce Hermanson.

We raised over $4k, which was pretty good considering the mountain was officially closed. Participants and supporters hiked a mile up the mountain to watch the event. After the comp was over, we all headed down to the lodge to listed to some great music by thejohnbenders, Instant Winner, and Martian Memo to God. The bands were a lot of fun and we gave out a butt load of prizes.

We can only hope that we have such great support in 2006, thanks so much to all of you who made it out!
